Welcome to The Granary Barn. Located in the rural heart of The East Riding of Yorkshire, this property makes an idylic home from home getaway for large families, couples or friendship groups. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen plus utlity room, a spacious dining room & 'snug' and a seperate lounge with a log burning fire and 65 inch tv....perfect for watching a movie! Upstairs you'll find 4 good size bedrooms, 2 with en-suite shower rooms and one main bathroom with tub and shower. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. At the front of the property there is ample parking for 6 or 7 cars and to the rear you'll find a large garden and an annexe where you'll find a table tennis table and a mini gym. The house itself is a converted barn and was formerly part of Popular Farm which is nextdoor. There is still much active farming in the area and it's surrounded by fields, fields and more fields! You'll never be stuck for somewhere to walk. Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate any pets. Please be reminded this is an absolutely non smoking property and smoking is not permitted in or around the house.

The Granary Barn is located just off the A163 in Harlthorpe, approx 16 minutes drive from Selby and 30 minutes drive from York. There is also the number 18 bus to York which takes approximately an hour. Stand at the end of the drive and wave it down, please check local timetables for exact times. The nearest train station is Howden, park for free here. It is situated just outside the village of Bubwith, which can be accessed on foot by taking the Old Railway Path, which runs along the back of the property. This abandoned railway is very popular with dog walkers and ramblers as it's a mostly flat 8 miles and has plenty of spots to nip off and get a cup of tea and some refreshments, before continuing your walk. Inside the house you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. We provide linens, towels, bathroom products, crockery, glassware etc plus some basic kitchen necessities such as salt, pepper, cooking oil & kitchen foil. We can do meet & greet upon check in or a key safe box for you to self check in, please let me know in advance as to your preference. I'm sorry but we are unable to accomodate pets.
