Particularly suited for couples, this detached cottage, next to the owner’s home and on a working farm, has been renovated to retain the early 19th century character of the cottage, yet incorporates everyday comforts...even a hairdryer! The absence of a television only enhances the atmosphere and ambiance of Drumniall. However the excellent Wi-Fi reception means you can still catch up on the world outside. The very restful rooms are complemented by traditional furnishings, a very efficient wood burner in the living room and a plethora of books and other literature to immerse yourself in. Its south-facing aspect makes the most of stunning views over Royal Deeside, and its central location makes it an ideal base for enjoying the many activities and experiences available in the area. Regretably pets are not permitted due to the close proximity of sheep in the fields. Rich in historical sites, there are many to visit within close proximity, including Craigievar Castle, the ‘jewel’ of the famed Castles of Aberdeenshire, which is just minutes away. Nature lovers will not be disappointed, with many species of bird, including golden eagles, having been spotted near to the cottage, and deer herds in neighbouring Glentanar and Glenshee.
