Tweedmouth is a settlement that is a component of the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. It is situated between the hamlet of Haggerston to the south and the parish of Mordrington to the north on the banks of the River Tweed. Contrary to Berwick, the town has historically always been a part of England. It is well known for its yearly ritual, where Tweedmouth schools choose a "Salmon Queen" to inaugurate "Salmon Week," a custom that extends all the way back to 1292.
